Our client in the mining industry is seeking a professional to support an enterprise-wide Workday implementation initiative. This position is focused on ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across multiple phases, including end-to-end and user readiness testing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with technical teams, business leads, and stakeholders to ensure test plans are executed effectively and defects are tracked and resolved efficiently.

Salaried: $100 to $105 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $110 to $115 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Support the planning and facilitation of testing phases within the Workday program.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Workday testing activities.
Coordinate logistics and scheduling for Workday test execution.
Assist with the execution of both business and technical test cases during all testing phases.
Perform test case execution for various test phases including E2E, URT, and SRT.
Coordinate the collection and reporting of Workday testing readiness criteria.
Support the execution of the testing plan and report progress to the Test Manager and stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate defect triage, working with project teams to resolve issues methodically.
Assist in writing high-level test scenarios and detailed test cases for multiple test phases.
Collaborate with Global Process Leads and SMEs to build and execute test cases in Workday.
Support business users during the preparation and execution of URT and SRT test cases.
What you will need to succeed:
Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
Previous experience as part of a testing team for a SaaS solution or similar role.
Project experience on HR systems, with Workday HCM, payroll, and Case Management testing considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of Workday deployment, testing methodologies, and associated tools.
Proficiency in creating and executing functional test scenarios and scripts.
Skilled in using test management tools and frameworks to support testing activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and workshop facilitation.
Ability to manage test logistics, readiness reporting, and defect resolution.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working in agile development environments.
Capable of navigating complex matrix organizations and collaborating with remote and cross-cultural teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
Self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Demonstrated alignment with core values such as care, courage, and curiosity.
Bilingual fluency in English and French to support testing activities, coordination with business users, and collaboration with global process leads and SMEs in both languages.
