Job Description

Role: Workday Finance Consultant

Who are we looking for?

Looking for Level 5 resource, having 3-5 years of experience in Workday Finance consultant role.

Technical Skills:

1. Configure Workday Financial business processes.
2. 5 years supporting Workday Financials experiences.
3. Experience on at least one full life cycle Workday Finance implementation preferred which includes functional testing and data conversion and integration testing.
4. In-depth knowledge and experience with Workday Finance, specifically Supplier management, Company & Cost.

Job Functions:

1. Develop and maintain Workday reports.
2. Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure results meet the business needs.
3. Leverage knowledge of customer support principles, and best practices to provide best-in-class service to our internal customers.
4. Manage prioritization of work against priorities and dependencies.
5. Proactively review Workday business processes, to evaluate against new features and functionality with an eye to increased automation and reduction of manual processes.
6. Support new Workday release activities relating to the needs of the business and impact assessment.
7. Background in identifying, designing, testing, and deploying solutions in financial systems.
8. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, flexible environment.
9. Experience with ticketing systems and enterprise collaboration tools.

2. Expert in a wide range of Agile processes, techniques, tools, and principles, including the latest trends in product and agile.
3. Demonstrated experience managing broad stakeholder groups, particularly in gaining consensus on priority.
4. Highly skilled in written and verbal communication, especially in complex and high-pressure environments including experience interacting with C-level executives.
5. Demonstrated experience adapting to rapidly changing requirements and priorities.
6. Exceptional initiative and follow-through on projects with little to no supervision or guidance.
7. Passionate about knowledge sharing, and skilled at helping develop and advance the team through mentorship.
8. Demonstrated success in delivering products that meet and exceed customer and business expectations.
9. Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field of study, or related practical experience. Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
