NOTE: This is a remote 12-month full-time position with the possibility of extension.

As the Data Conversion Lead, you will work with the Workday Project Team, including internal business and technical teams to derive the data conversion strategy for implementing AMA’s new Workday Financial System.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Report to the Project Technical Lead.
• Oversee and be accountable for Workday Data Conversion deliverables.
• Develop the data conversion strategy and plan.
• Complete data quality assessments and identify approaches for data cleansing.
• Derive data conversion logic from consultation with stakeholders and review requirements and design documents.
• Participate in Workday implementation activities.
• Be accountable for the end-to-end ETL process:
  • Extract from legacy systems.
  • Transform data based on the agreed upon logic.
  • Work with the Workday Data Conversion team in loading data into the various Workday tenants used throughout the project.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

• You have prior experience working on a Workday Finance deployment, including familiarity with the Workday data loading workbooks, Workday process, etc.
• You have prior experience facilitating the ETL of financial data from legacy systems to Workday Finance (including historical financial data).
• A strong understanding of SQL databases and extracting the data from these databases is required.
• You'll get bonus points if you are an expert in the Workday tools used day to day in order to execute data conversion activities.
