What We’ll Love About You

1. Certified CWB Welding Supervisor is an asset.
2. 5 years of industrial experience, with MIG welding and overhead crane operation.
3. 3 years of progressive experience in a supervisory role.
4. Strong knowledge of general metal fabrication technical processes, equipment, and workflows.
5. Experience with welding symbols, diagrams, and reading blueprints.
6. Must be thoroughly familiar with the set up and operation of welding machines.
7. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
8. Must be safety conscious and adhere to safety processes and policies.
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

What You’ll Work On

As a Welding and Fitting Supervisor at Steelcon, you will be responsible for monitoring workers on the proper techniques, details of materials, equipment, and fabrication techniques ensuring Welders obtain maximum productivity.

Shift

We are actively hiring for the Afternoon shift, working 44 hours per week.

1. Monday to Thursday, 5:15 pm to 5:00 am. Friday, no shift.

Skills And Experience In

Fabrication, weld quality, welding manufacturing supervisor, welder/fitter supervisor, welding supervisor, GTAW, MIG, Stick, TIG, good dexterity, attention to detail, organizational skills.
