Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and energetic Pressure B-Level Welder to join our team in Chilliwack, BC.

4. Our Pressure B-Level Welder has a starting wage range of $34 - $38 hr. based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment. Day shift- Mon-Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

The position of Welder includes but is not limited to production welding of standard and custom products. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high-paced production environment.

Essential Functions For This Role Are

1. Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in the work cells hitting daily goals set, welding according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes.
2. Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld.
3. Complete all required paperwork and necessary preparation work.
4. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
5. Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.

Experience, Qualifications, And Skills Required

1. Thorough knowledge of welding practices and techniques.
2. Able to read blueprints/drawings and follow instructions.
3. Minimum B Level Ticket.
4. Welding of Stainless Steel using GMAW is an asset.
5. CWB Certificate may be required depending on department hired for.
6. TIG welding experience with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel is an asset.
