Infinity Events & Décor is the one stop event shop in Saskatchewan offering services that include event design, event planning, coordination, live florals, décor rentals, photography, videography, venue rentals, and jewelry all in house. We are looking for a professional, energetic, career-oriented Wedding & Event Planner to help our clients achieve their ultimate event and wedding experiences. As a planner on our team, you will be the primary contact for clients while working with them on planning an event of their dreams.
Role responsibilities vary depending on client needs and include but are not limited to: deciding on a theme, managing all the event/wedding preparations, coordinating with a client to identify their requirements, liaising with the vendors to source the required services, suggesting creative ideas and inspirations to clients, building/maintaining event timeline calendar, building of budgets and vision boards, and being the team lead on site for event setup, execution, and tear down. Overview of responsibilities
- Discussing and planning event/wedding theme, venue setup, and other requirements with the client
- Preparing event budgets and processing invoices
- Researching and booking venues that fit client vision/needs
- Creating and communicating an appropriate timeline for all event activities
- Coordinating all logistical elements of the event
- Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event
- Liaising with different vendors and suppliers and negotiating contract terms, obtaining quotes from vendors, and ensuring timely payment
- Being physically available on event day
- Printing and sending out invitations
- Completing and keeping event production manuals up to date
- Scheduling and attending client meetings on and off-site
- Daytime, evenings, and weekend work required as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
