Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated part-time Web Developer to take ownership of our website, hirehoratio.com. The ideal candidate is skilled in JavaScript, Next.js, React, Vercel, GitHub, and Prismic CMS and will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and optimizing our web presence. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure the website aligns with our brand and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the website built on Next.js and React.
- Deploy and manage web applications using Vercel.
- Integrate and manage content using Prismic CMS.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the website meets brand standards and supports marketing campaigns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Manage API integrations and ensure seamless functionality between the website and external services.
- Optimize the website for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Use GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Provide technical recommendations and improvements to enhance user experience and security.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Write technical documents.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with Vercel deployment.
- Familiarity with Prismic CMS for content management.
- Proficient with GitHub for version control.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with SEO best practices and website analytics.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of web performance optimization.
- Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Previous experience in maintaining or managing business websites.
- Google Tag Manager.
Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in web development with proficiency in Next.js and React.
- Computer Science or Software Engineering degree or a related field.
