Tasks

1. Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
2. Write, modify, integrate and test software code
3. Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
4. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
5. Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
6. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
7. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
8. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
9. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
10. Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
11. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
12. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
13. Research and evaluate a variety of software products
14. Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and Internet-based applications
15. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
16. Program special effects software for film and video applications
17. Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
18. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
