Tasks

1. Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
2. Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance
3. Develop website architecture
4. Write, modify and test website related code
5. Write, modify, integrate and test software code
6. Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
7. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
8. Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
9. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
10. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
11. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
12. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
13. Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
14. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
15. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
16. Research and evaluate a variety of software products
17. Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges and Internet-based applications
18. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
19. Program special effects software for film and video applications
20. Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
