What this role is all about:
The Wealth Management Assistant supports Beem’s vision of sales & service excellence by providing quality administrative, sales and member relationship support to our members and Wealth Management Team.
Please note: this is an
on-site position at the Beem location in Kelowna, Kamloops or Langley. While we appreciate applications from across Canada, we anticipate filling this position with a local candidate.
What you’ll do:
- Assisting in the efficient and effective operations of the Wealth Management department
- Pro-actively supporting client relationships and prospective member development
- Supporting and effectively managing member and branch inquiries with accuracy, flexibility, and professionalism
- Taking responsibility for the administration of referral growth while managing the day-to-day technical components of the CRM program and referral process
- Supporting the development of incoming referral business through initial referral contacts and follow up with branch connections
- Acting as a technical resource for the CRM software, insurance software and liaise with outside sources for supporting materials, programs, and tools
- Assisting with the completion of required documents, sending requests to the appropriate back offices, and following up on the status of transactions
- Acting as a liaison with third party compliance and client care staff
A little about your qualifications:
- High-school diploma plus one year of formal post-secondary education or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at a high pace
- Attention to detail
- Post-secondary courses in business or finance is an asset or 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role in the financial industry
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) is preferred (licensing within the role is required)
