Mercato di Luigi | Cantina di Luigi is currently looking for a Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team!

At Mercato di Luigi | Cantina di Luigi, we're thrilled to announce the expansion of our brand with a captivating new concept. Our latest location will feature an Italian market, deli, and cafe by day, seamlessly transitioning into a full-service restaurant by night, highlighting Italian cuisine with a focus on simplicity, local ingredients, and a curated wine list. This position involves a lot of creativity and will be responsible for creating pasta features every day!

Mercato di Luigi | Cantina di Luigi is focused on a community-driven concept offering an Italian grocery, fresh pasta to dine in or takeaway, and an Italian-style cafe. If you're passionate about hospitality, the guest experience, and leading a team, we want to hear from you!

You have:

1. 1+ years experience in a similar role
2. A passion for cooking and hospitality
3. A positive attitude and a calm demeanour
4. Food Safe Level One required
5. Experience with Italian cuisine is an asset
6. Experience with Optimum Control is an asset
7. First Aid is an asset
