Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Inspect and perform light mechanical rebuilds of roll shells; operate hydraulic press and bench grinder.
• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare various documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
• Prepare shipments by assembling and arranging for the transportation of materials/equipment.
• Receive shipments by unpacking, verifying against manifests, and recording incoming materials/equipment.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance.
• Read work orders to determine work assignments or material/equipment requirements.
• Move equipment and materials to and from different areas of the site (production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles etc.) by hand/trolley or forklift.
• Other warehouse general labor as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an industrial warehouse
• Physically able to perform assigned duties and lift to 50 pounds independently
• Strong mechanical aptitude: ability to inspect and perform light mechanical repairs and improvements
• Self-motivated and ability to prioritize workload
• Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
• Forklift certificate an asset
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
