We’re looking for a full-time Warehouse Technician @ Brampton site, could it be you?

Your future role

As a Warehouse Technician, you support daily operations in the shop floor & warehouse from receiving to assembly line deliveries.

The Afternoon Warehouse Technician’s shift is from 2:00 to 10:30 pm with a base hourly rate of $21.53 + shift premium = $22.33.

While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers, and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety policies.

You’ll specifically take care of

  • Complying with and enforcing EHSS policies and rules
  • Delivering material to the Production Line as required
  • Inventory counting and validation
  • Picking, packing and shipping of material
  • Receiving and validating material receipt and performing inbound put-away

We’ll look to you for

  • To meet production demands while ensuring material is delivered safely and without damage
  • To update Purchase Order system - via SAP and IR Scanner - on time & accurately
  • To follow the 5S principles on the entire plant

  • Warehouse Operations - Shipping/Receiving, Picking, Material Handling experience
  • Mandatory: Counterbalance and Reach Truck Certification
  • Strong computer skills with adequate communication skills
  • Able to operate heavy machinery (forklift, overhead crane, shunting equipment)
  • SAP & IR scanner experience is a PLUS
