Warehouse Supervisor – Trenton ON

Capital Movers & Storage in Trenton, ON is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a full time Warehouse Supervisor. Moving industry experience is required and candidate must have a valid AZ License. The position involves physical activity, teamwork, leadership, accountability, and problem solving. Consistent attendance and punctuality are required to ensure success with this position.

Wage is $25-28 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Manage the inventory of household goods as well as general freight.
2. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments of household goods and freight.
3. Ensures shipping documents are signed and completed for appropriate staff to process.
4. Proper security and protection of all goods received into warehouse (pad wrap, labelling for identification, consolidation, etc.)
5. Organize household shipments for storage in warehouses.
6. Ensures access to the warehouse is controlled at all times.
7. May direct others with incoming and outgoing shipments.
8. Operate forklift and power jacks.
9. Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and power jacks.
10. Perform housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work area.
11. Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures.
12. Responsible for snow removal on walkways and receiving areas.
13. Move trailers and scale trucks when necessary.
14. Load and unload trucks at residence when required.
15. Deliver general freight on occasion.
16. Ensure trucks/trailers are up to date on Safety inspection dates.
17. Plow Snow and Shovel Walkways as required.
18. Maintain an overall safe work environment.

Requirements:

1. Valid AZ licence with satisfactory driving record and CVOR.
2. Satisfactory CPIC result upon offer.
3. Moving Industry experience – required.
4. Forklift Experience – preferred.
5. Warehouse experience – preferred.
