Job description

As a Warehouse Supervisor (Manager, Supply Chain-Warehousing, Distribution & Logistics), you’ll lead a team of hourly associates and salaried consultants in the execution of all shipping and receipts of our beverage throughout North America. This role supports 24/7 operations from a warehousing perspective to ensure customer orders are fulfilled, materials are received on time, and warehouse storage is managed efficiently to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Review customer orders at the warehouse, streamline the process, gain efficiency and provide feedback to the parties responsible for placing the orders, transportation, QA, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure on-time shipping of customer orders to prevent stock outs.
  • Direct, lead, and distribute work to associates to drive business results and set accountability.
  • Regularly conduct inspections and internal audits of facility areas to ensure the plant is always audit-ready.
  • Manage plant or warehouse metrics (e.g., breakage, yields, product obsolescence) using historical data, current information, and metrics targets to minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with KPIs - performance metrics relating to quality, service, efficiency, cost, and delivery to specifications to the company’s requirements.
  • Learn and improve warehousing procedures/processes within the Logistics Program to improve operational effectiveness and compliance.
  • Lead process optimization and operational excellence projects, eliminate barriers, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Create department schedules, vacation tracker, execute time & attendance records, monitoring, and manage overtime.
  • Review associates’ performance, ensure work expectations are communicated, and provide coaching, support, and training required to meet job expectations.
  • Execute and improve current Inventory Control activities by ensuring that all related tasks are performed to meet company and external requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with QA and shipping procedures in handling of packaging materials, ingredients, finished product, shipments, paperwork, and general freight movement into and out of the warehouse.
  • Lead the execution of inventory control procedures and routines (e.g., cycle counting) for ingredients, packaging, damages, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company and Plant policies concerning traffic procedures, security, KPI reports, and applicable regulatory and industry regulations concerning freight shipments.
  • Ensure GMP checks are completed, drive improvement in existing programs, and set accountability for GMP routines and other duties as required by department managers.
  • Ensure safe operations of the warehouse, compliance with warehouse safety programs, and ensure safety KPIs are reviewed with the team to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Support 24/7 operations for plants to have warehouse space available to continue production activities and optimize utilization of outside storage.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety policies by supporting initiatives to drive site performance on EHS KPIs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably with food plants.
  • Highly desirable to have manufacturing experience, preferably in food plants.
  • Experience managing workforce, schedules, budgets, time, and attendance records.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management routines, processes, and industry practices.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Forklift experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts if needed to support business needs.
  • Ability to understand, record, and communicate material and product information.
  • Strong experience with managing Goods Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, attendance, and rules of conduct guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies and processes.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $96,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 15. Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
