Okanagan Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a reputable company providing logistics management. The ideal candidate should have previous supervisory experience and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage deliveries, product verification, and maintain a safe compliant workplace.
This role requires a leader with excellent communication skills to manage staff in a positive, polite, and professional atmosphere. You must prioritize tasks to ensure scheduled timelines are adhered to, manage bills of lading for shipments, and check docks and equipment for maintenance. Additionally, you will manage fuel logs, oversee warehouse inspections, create purchase orders, approve invoices, and work cooperatively with other warehouses throughout the corporation.
You need to provide great customer service, assist with the cleanliness of the warehouse, participate in regular meetings with head office, and address or resolve problems in a timely manner to ensure operational efficiencies are maintained.
Post-secondary education in logistics is an asset, along with a Class 3 License and Certified License in Forklift, Reach Truck, and Power Jack. You must be physically fit to move fifty pounds and possess intermediate computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
This position is in West Kelowna, and compensation is negotiable up to $70,000.00 depending on experience.
