As a Senior Manager Warehouse, you’ll lead the warehouse department with a team of both salaried and hourly associates in the execution of all shipping and receipts of our beverage throughout North America.
This role supports a 24/7 operation and requires a leader that is thorough in execution, continuous improvement, and challenging the status quo. This role is also responsible for managing order fulfillment of customer orders – both internal and external. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a passion for leading and managing multiple sites to lead warehouse operations and be ready for broader support to the network.
What You’ll Do for Us
Manage and lead the site (all juice and dairy operations) inbounds and outbounds deliveries to ensure availability, accuracy, and on-time delivery to customers (both internal and external).
Review customer orders, develop collaboration with transportation, planning, SAP, and production teams to ensure warehouse operations are conducted smoothly meeting guidelines and company goals.
Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Inspect facility (e.g., production, warehouse, service/installation) to assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and procedures.
Introduce new and manage existing warehouse metrics using historical data, current information, and metrics targets to minimize costs, increase service level, and inventory accuracy.
Evaluate and measure performance of external service providers (e.g., suppliers, distributors, third-party logistics providers) using applicable performance metrics to ensure quality, service, efficiency, cost, and delivery to specifications as set forth in agreements.
Lead the development and maintenance of warehousing procedures/processes within the Logistics Program, Transportation team, and planning team to improve operational effectiveness and compliance for all incoming (bulk materials included) and outgoing.
Develop and execute process improvement projects and initiatives to drive operational effectiveness within the distribution center and outside storages.
Responsible for managing departmental expenses and annual business plan targets, goals, and objectives; and responsible to ensure strategy and plans in place to achieve those business goals.
Support Inventory Control Functions by ensuring that all activities are performed to meet requirements for inventory control guidelines set forth by the company.
Ensure compliance with QA and shipping procedures in handling of packaging materials, ingredients, finished products, shipments, paperwork, and general freight movement into and out of the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with routines, policies, and procedures for inventory control (e.g., cycle counting) for all ingredients, packaging, and finished products.
Create an environment for team and external providers to comply with Company and Plant policies concerning traffic procedures, security, reports, and applicable regulatory and industry regulations concerning freight shipments.
Efficiently plan resources to support warehousing operations, training, coaching, and supervising the staff.
Ensure compliance to GMP, shipping, receiving, minor maintenance, or other related policies, and conduct other duties as required by the leadership team.
Ensure compliance to the applicable regulatory standards for shipping & receiving – such as CFIA, FDA, OMAFRA, and KO internal.
Support 24/7 operations for plants to have warehouse space available to continue production activities and optimize utilization of outside storage.
Ensure compliance with the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety policies by supporting initiatives to drive site performance on EHS KPIs.
Ensure safe operations of the warehouse, compliance with warehouse safety programs, and ensure safety KPIs are reviewed with the team to maintain safe working conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of food plant warehouse/inventory experience required.
3+ years of food manufacturing experience in a GMP environment with leadership experience required.
Experience managing people/budgets with 3+ years supervising warehouse staff required.
Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, skilled in computer and Microsoft applications.
Deep understanding of inventory management systems, forecasting, warehouse management & workforce planning for optimal operations.
Forklift experience is desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts if needed to support business needs.
Ability to understand, record, and communicate material, QA requirements, and product information to suppliers and customers.
Strong experience with ensuring compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, attendance, and conduct guidelines.
Adhere to all company policies and processes.
