Overview:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead our team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. The Warehouse Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations within our warehouse facility. This dynamic position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining efficiency and accuracy in all warehouse activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Working efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Effectively leading a team of Full-Time and Part-Time employees
• Managing workplace health and safety
• Reading, interpreting and applying a collective bargaining agreement.
• Demonstrating a strong achievement orientation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Communicating effectively with escalated customers
• Displaying passion, energy and optimism in your day-to-day work

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience managing in a plant or warehouse setting is required
• Experience in a retail warehouse is considered an asset
• Experience in a unionized environment is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills
• Advanced computer skills and experience using ERP systems, Google, and MS Office products
• Proactive and self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make quick decisions
• Awareness of Health & Safety Act and other applicable employment legislation
• Availability to work a full-time retail rotation schedule
