Our well established Canadian manufacturing client, is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Manager to manage their overall logistical supply chain management, inventory control process, and vendor relationships. The role is responsible for organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of goods across Alberta. The position oversees the entire order cycle, to ensure business optimization, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

The Role:

• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, vendor contracts and customer service
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycles
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, internal customers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, inventory, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

• 7-10+ years experience in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Understanding of Lean principles, and process improvement strategies is an asset
• Prior leadership experience in a Logistics and warehouse environment
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage warehouse and logistics staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
