Warehouse Forklift Operator

Dessert Holdings is looking for Warehouse Forklift Operators for our London ON location. As a member of the warehouse team, you are required to complete various warehouse duties, including working in a cold environment. Come and join our amazing team!

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Staging/setup of packaging materials in respective packaging departments
• Picking and storing of raw materials
• Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
• Receiving of raw materials
• Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Inventory cycle counts
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts, and walkies
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices, and policy

Position Requirements:

• Must have a valid forklift license and be able to drive a Crown Standup Reach truck.
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures (freezer and refrigeration)
• Scheduling flexibility
• Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment
• Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems
• Focused on detail, accuracy, and a strong mathematical aptitude
• Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator.

Shift:

• B-shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• C-shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Sunday to Thursday

Pay Rate: $24.07 per hour (probationary rate), $26.75 per hour (full rate)
