Shipping/Receiving - Warehouse Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified Shipping/Receiving - Warehouse Manager to join our team.

Location: North York, Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: On-site

Responsibilities

• Performs operations of incoming reception, Incoming/Outgoing from warehouse (physical and logical).
• Organizes or manages inventories and analyzes the deviation causes.
• Proposes improvement action plans as an active player of continuous improvement for the domain.
• Insures the following activities: shipping, incoming reception, store, on-site handling.
• Realizes the conditioning and packaging following predefined rules.
• Prepares the kits for the manufacturing workcells.
• Responsible for receiving and shipping in a timely manner for all departments, along with goods receipt and issuance in SAP.
• Clear and open communication with team members is required.
• Storeperson with extensive technical or industrial experience enabling a high degree of autonomy, mastering all domains of the concerned job perimeter, proposing adaptation on new processes and IS tools, and continuous improvement plans for the concerned domain.
• Lead a team (Functional, Storepersons) through application of basic knowledge of several domains of the job area.
• Referent of the warehouse in terms of know-how, ensuring the training and pedagogical support towards newcomers within the concerned perimeter.
• Explain facts, practices, and deploy policies, etc. to others within the organization in the concerned perimeter.
• Reach day-to-day objectives and deliver results that have a limited impact on production unit/function overall results.
• Check and correct problems relative to the concerned perimeter and guarantee the good level of data within the IS tool.
• Operational
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
• Work with Logistics lead providing accurate and timely information/paperwork.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Warehouse shipping and receiving.
• Experience with SAP Supply Chain module and asset.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs cartons on occasion.
• Material handling equipment experience.
