What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Cardinal Health, with over 1300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
We are looking for a positive and team-oriented individual to join our Moncton distribution centre to support our team for a 6 month contract (with the possibility of permanence).
Join our Operations team to make an impact by receiving and putting away medical products as well as fulfilling orders while servicing clients in the Health Care industry.
Hourly rate: $20.60
Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract duration: 6 months (With the possibility of permanence at the end of the contract)
