Job DescriptionWe are looking for one (1) general labourer who can handle heavy lifting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment!Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the
Warehouse Associate will be working closely with the rest of our Operations Team at the
Kellogg facility. The primary responsibilities include picking, packing, loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products to ensure accurate and timely shipment of products for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, including eaches, cases, and pallets for different order types as required (ecomm, B2B, B2C, etc.).
- Load and unload trucks and containers by hand (hand bombing), label and sort products, and follow putaway procedures per SOPs.
- Perform basic quality checks, process returns, and assist with inventory counts.
- Ensure shipments meet customer requirements, including packaging, labeling, and routing guidelines.
- Verify the accuracy of transactions, using RF scan guns, WMS platforms and various software programs.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal team and external vendors and customers.
- Generate and audit shipping documents as required, including BOL, Commercial Invoice, Labels, etc.
- Help investigate and reconcile shipping, receiving and inventory discrepancies upon request.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed.
QualificationsWhat we are looking for:- 3 to 6 months of experience working in a distribution/warehouse setup is preferred.
- Experience with picking (RF scanner) is a huge plus.
- Experience working with WMS (warehouse management system) is ideal.
- Previous experience with inventory and cycle counting is an asset.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Ability and flexibility to work different shift schedules as required with reliable transportation.
- Great customer service attitude.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
