Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped effectively. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing packages.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to handle various materials and products.
• Utilize order pickers to retrieve items for distribution accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stock management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is an advantage.
• A commitment to safety standards and practices within the warehouse setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
