Warehouse Associate

As the industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of abrasive blasting equipment and supplies, our Leduc Warehouse team is critical to our overall business strategy, fueling Allredi's growth across North America. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time position will be reporting to the Operations Manager. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse. Work is day-shift with some evenings and weekends required to meet business goals. Comprehensive, generous benefits provided along with 3 weeks of paid-time-off annually! This is a replacement role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload incoming/outgoing trucks
• Pull orders/transfers and have them ready to ship on pallets or boxes
• Ensure each shipment is labeled correctly for proper delivery
• Check-in inventory as it arrives on-site
• Ensure the purchase order matches the vendor packing slips
• Maintain inventory of assembled hoses in stock for future customer orders
• Keep warehouse clean at all times
• Wear the proper PPE at all times
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations/Inside Sales Manager and/or Outside Sales Representative

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to:

• Reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Frequently stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally sit and climb or balance
• Lift and/or move items ranging from ten pounds, up to, and occasionally more than one hundred pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Operate forklift properly
• Able to lift 55lb of material or equipment
