SCHEDULE “A” – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Main Purpose of the Job: This is a full-time position based at our location in Mississauga, ON. The candidate is responsible for picking and putting away products as required, verifying information, and ensuring accuracy, as well as utilizing equipment within the warehouse area to store product. The candidate may assist in other areas of production and warehouse duties.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Direct Reports: None

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Picking: Selecting items for order fulfillment
  2. Packing: Packaging customer orders, ensuring accuracy, and staging for shipping
  3. Assisting in loading and unloading materials from delivery partners
  4. Following up on orders, back orders, and inventory levels
  5. Warehousing and inventory logistics
  6. Help maintain and improve workflow
  7. Assisting the production team as required
  8. Ensuring the warehouse is maintained in a clean, orderly fashion
  9. Safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers, suppliers, or other company locations
  10. Other responsibilities, as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  1. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  2. Previous experience with warehouse management
  3. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  4. Computer literacy
  5. Highly organized with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  7. Must be able to operate a forklift, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment
  8. Preferred experience reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams
  9. Knowledge of health and safety procedures

Working Conditions:

  1. The position may require working with chemicals and other hazardous materials such as isopropyl alcohol or other electronic cleaners, contact cleaners, insulating varnish, degreasers, and other industrial-grade adhesives and cleaning supplies
  2. Employee may be required to work weekends or after-hours per business needs

Physical Requirements:

  1. Bending, lifting, and carrying
  2. Extended periods of standing
  3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  5. Problem-solving and quick decision-making skills
  6. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and demands, as appropriate
