Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Safety procedures followed at all times
• Receiving of equipment from airlines, and reconcile the “Bill of Lading”
• Picking orders requested from Galley, and delivering the orders
• Update mapping of warehouse as needed
• Load and unload shipment of products from containers
• Ensure all equipment is dispatched and issued in compliance with Company policy and customs regulations
• Conduct quality and quantity checks on all equipment. Report any defects on equipment to the Operations Supervisor
• Rotate stock as needed and check expiry dates
• Assisting account managers to conduct inventory count and place orders for replenishment needs
• Compile inventory product replenishment lists as needed
• Ensure reservation sheets are filled and completed when given
• Control access of employees entering and exiting the new bonded warehouse
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at a height and climb ladders
• Must be able to multi task

Wage Rate: $17.50 per hour, up to 40 hrs. /week

Reporting to: Equipment Supervisor

Unionized: After 90 working shifts

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Mandatory Forklift License – company will provide training via third party training school
• Electrical pump truck license is an asset
• Ability to read and write in English and basic mathematic skills, and excel skills are an asset
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication skills.
• Must have a positive demeanor and be a team player
