Walkie Rider Forklift Operator

Want to work for one of the largest Food Distributors in Canada? Our client is seeking Order Selectors with Walkie Rider certification.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a valid license and must be certified on the Walkie forklift machine.
• Must have Manual Order picking experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 6 months to 1 year Walkie certified and experience with a clean criminal record.

Perks of the job:
– $19/hr plus 4% vacation pay

Shift: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5:00pm - plenty of overtime available

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Responsibilities:

• Operate Walkie Rider machine in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform routine inventory checks, cycle counts, and use RF Scanners.
• Prepare and complete orders for shipping and be computer savvy.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs as required.
• Pick stock from a pick sheet and pack into boxes, labeling them for shipping.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product pallets and materials using a forklift.
• Good aptitude for numbers - fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is very important - Safety is #1 mindset and attitude.
