Position Summary
SGS & Co. is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our executive Optimization Organization as the Vice President of Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Scheduling Operations, and Contractor Services. In this high-impact role, you will oversee global planning processes, optimize scheduling operations, and manage contractor services to ensure alignment with business objectives, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. This role reports directly into the Chief Optimization Officer and is a key member of the Sr. Leadership team.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Global S&OP, scheduling operations, and contractor services to meet organizational goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, finance, and sales, to ensure alignment with company objectives and market demands.
- Champion the adoption of best practices and innovation to continuously improve processes.
Global S&OP Management:
- Oversee the S&OP process to align supply and demand forecasts, inventory planning, and financial targets.
- Facilitate executive-level S&OP meetings to drive data-driven decisions and resolve conflicts in resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
Scheduling Operations:
- Lead the development and optimization of scheduling strategies to maximize resource utilization, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement advanced planning and scheduling systems, leveraging technology to improve accuracy and responsiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and operational standards in scheduling practices.
Contractor Services Management:
- Manage relationships with contractor networks, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and enforce policies for contractor onboarding, performance management, and compliance.
- Drive initiatives to improve contractor engagement, retention, and alignment with company values.
Team Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Identify skill gaps and provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a key liaison between executive leadership, operational teams, and external partners.
- Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities effectively to stakeholders.
Competency Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership experience in S&OP, supply chain management, operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving results in a global organization.
- Experience managing contractor services in complex, multi-regional environments.
- Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Global or multi-regional experience with an understanding of cultural diversity in business operations.
- Proficiency in S&OP tools, advanced scheduling systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and drive cultural change.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, deliver and follow instructions, and possess an attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Critical thinking and capability to provide strategic support to leaders on complex issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and possess ability to navigate and use other web-based systems as necessary.
- Possess a positive attitude and establish good working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Travel Requirements
Travel is required in this position as frequently as necessary, estimated around 40%, inclusive of domestic and international.
Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
