Job Description
Blend360 is seeking a visionary and innovative leader for driving Generative AI (GenAI) intelligent applications. This individual will help build Blend’s growth in the space and will need to focus on helping drive the sale of intelligent apps through the formulation of the offering, being a reason to buy in the sales process and driving thought leadership in the market for this. This individual will play a critical role in designing, selling, and delivering GenAI solutions while leading the development of Blend360’s GenAI practice. They will work cross-functionally with Data Science, Data Engineering, Product Management, and Project Management teams to deliver impactful and scalable projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Innovation:
- Define and implement GenAI building standards to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across projects.
- Stay abreast of advancements in GenAI and agentic systems, translating emerging trends into actionable opportunities for Blend360 and its clients.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of client-focused GenAI solutions that meet business objectives.
- Align with VP of AI and Cloud Architecture on reference architectures to support the opportunities.
- Business Development and Client Engagement:
- Partner with sales and client teams to identify opportunities for GenAI applications and develop tailored solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during pre-sales engagements, including presenting concepts, creating proposals, and articulating the value of GenAI solutions.
- Build and nurture client relationships to ensure long-term value and partnership growth.
- Drive market-facing leadership through speaking, blogs, and analyst opportunities.
- Accelerators and Partnerships:
- Work directly with key partners and the partner team to help create more powerful opportunities for clients.
- Work with service lines to deepen skills with priority partners.
- For 2025, priority partners are Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and Pega (Azure, GCP, and others are on the radar but not prioritized for 2025).
- Collaborate on building accelerators both informally (such as reference architectures and other materials) and formally (via business case), including a leadership role on BlendX (Blend’s agentic foundation).
- Team Building and Collaboration:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of experts specializing in GenAI intelligent applications.
- Collaborate with existing teams in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Delivery Excellence to leverage expertise and drive successful project outcomes.
- Project Delivery:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of GenAI projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the success of GenAI applications and continuously refine approaches based on insights and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in developing and delivering GenAI applications, including agentic systems.
- Strong understanding of modern AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and data engineering practices.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex client engagements.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of successful business development.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LLMs, transformers, and related technologies.
- Vision and understanding of agentic systems, current limitations, and opportunities.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
