Volunteer Outreach & Partnership Representative

Organization: CareBridge Documentation
Location: Remote (Calgary-based preferred)

About Us: CareBridge Documentation is dedicated to providing support and solutions through professional documentation services. We specialize in creating letters for government services, housing, and special needs accommodations, ensuring that individuals and families receive the help they need.

Opportunity Overview: Are you passionate about building connections and helping communities thrive? Join CareBridge Documentation as a Volunteer Outreach & Partnership Representative! In this role, you will represent our organization to build meaningful partnerships with local organizations, community groups, and service providers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a representative of CareBridge Documentation to establish and maintain partnerships.
  2. Reach out to local organizations, including non-profits, shelters, and government agencies.
  3. Identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.
  4. Attend events or meetings (virtually or in-person) to promote CareBridge’s mission.
  5. Share feedback and ideas to strengthen our outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Post-secondary education in social work, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is an asset but not mandatory. Certifications in community engagement, marketing, or volunteer management are a bonus (e.g., Google Marketing certifications, HubSpot certifications, etc.).

Skills & Experience:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community.
  3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations.
  4. Organizational skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  5. Previous experience in outreach, community engagement, or partnership building is a plus but not required.

Training: Yes, volunteers will receive 4 to 8 hours of training covering CareBridge's mission, communication best practices, documentation processes, and using relevant tools.

Expectations: Volunteers will assist with outreach, make calls, follow up with clients and partners, and gain hands-on experience in social services. They will be mentored by staff and supported throughout the role, with flexibility and ongoing guidance.
