Prerequisite: Resides in Ontario – must be able to attend in-person meetings every other month
Willowbridge Community Services Inc. (formerly Family Counselling Centre of Brant Inc.), in partnership with the community, provides life-changing support through counselling, developmental services, education and advocacy. With over 50 full-time staff, we serve the communities of Brant, Hamilton, Niagara, and Haldimand-Norfolk.
Who we are looking for:
Engaged and compassionate Volunteer Directors seeking to play a leadership role in the oversight of counselling, developmental, and community services. As a member of our Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the agency’s long-term planning, strategic leadership, and governance in accordance with Willowbridge’s mission, vision, and values.

Members must be open-minded, committed to community care, and be accepting of all within our diverse communities. Please note this position is not specific to age, race, gender, experience, or education.
Our Board of Directors consists of up to 12 volunteer Directors who each serve a minimum 3-year term. The Board meets for two hours on the first Thursday of every month (virtually and in-person). Members are also asked to volunteer three to six hours per month on various committees. Members attend events and bi-annual board retreats to review and set the agency's strategic plan, priorities, and long-term objectives. New board members are nominated at the Willowbridge Community Services Annual General Meeting each September.
