THE ROLEReporting to the Director of Project Development, the VDC Coordinator supports preconstruction and construction teams with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks. The VDC Coordinator will work closely with the team to support the implementation of VDC processes for projects at every stage of development, from preconstruction to construction to project turnover. They will assist with the development of construction models and related project documentation to support VDC tasks such as project scheduling, quantity and cost estimating, trade model coordination for the creation of a federated model, and clash detection and resolution.
