Interior health is looking for a Virtual Care Services Facilitator to work out of our Kamloops location at the Royal Inland Hospital on a casual basis.
As this is an in office position, successful applicants must reside within the Kamloops area.
Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work, and shifts can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Job Summary:In accordance with the vision and values of the organization, the Virtual Care Services Facilitator is responsible for facilitating clinical, administrative and educational Virtual Care office logistics including the scheduling of virtual care events within Interior Health and other health facilities. This position liaises with clinicians and clients interested in hosting and/or participating in a virtual care session and manages the details and documentation of the event such as location, technical connection, equipment and contact information; updates/changes to documentation, external contractor confirmation, and evaluation/utilization data. In addition, the Virtual Care Services Facilitator provides training and basic technical support with the operation of Virtual Care equipment and software for clinicians and event hosts involved with complex presentations or those unfamiliar with the technology.
