Our client is a leading player in the food industry, renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation. They specialize in delivering high-quality food products and exceptional service to a diverse clientele.

Our client is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Vice President of Sales to lead their Quebec/Atlantic Sales Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the food industry, specifically with industrial and food service clients. You will play a critical role in developing and executing winning sales strategies, analyzing market trends, and achieving ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the Quebec/Atlantic Sales Division, overseeing sales activities and driving growth in the foodservice and industrial sector.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and delivery of service.
  6. Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  7. Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.
  8. Travel throughout Quebec and Eastern Canada to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry.
  2. Good network within the industrial and food service industries.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  4. Fluency in French and English (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  5. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  6. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  7. Ability to travel throughout Quebec and Eastern Canada as required.
