The OpportunityReporting to the General Manager of the RW&CO brand, the Vice President Marketing, Ecommerce & Visual Presentation will shape and drive the Brand vision and strategies that support growth and profitability across our Omni-channel eco-system.
As a key visionary of our Reitmans brand, the Vice President Marketing, Ecommerce & Visual Presentation will provide leadership and guidance to all brand conversations, ensuring all initiatives help drive consideration while simultaneously bolstering customer retention and acquisition goals. Part of the executive leadership team, you will have the opportunity to actively participate and drive cross-functional brand and commercialization planning to ensure excellence of execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Drive 360 brand strategy and marketing execution. By leading cross-functional collaboration and leveraging consumer insights, you will orchestrate the creation of compelling brand narratives and campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement and loyalty. Your strategic vision and hands-on leadership will be instrumental in elevating our brand positioning, delivering fashion consideration, and ultimately fueling business growth in the dynamic and competitive fashion retail landscape.
- Create and implement innovative strategies to expand our brand reach and foster a creative environment. Craft the marketing roadmap in collaboration with merchandising, planning and sales & operations teams to create a fully Omni-channel approach to the consumer experience, supported by analytics to drive key decision making.
- Drive our ecommerce growth through digital channel planning, online merchandising and on-site optimizations increasing our abilities to proactively deliver a unified 360 experience. Develop and leverage customer insights and intelligence to predict where the customer is headed and allow us to better communicate with her.
- Deliver best in class customer experience through translating a strategic brand vision across a multi-disciplinary marketing team spanning visual presentation, public relations, online and event marketing. Ensuring the pristine execution of all content and media as per the established marketing calendars.
- Inspirationally guide and develop a creative and talented marketing team towards customer centricity and business growth. Create and maintain a strong executive team presence and work collaboratively across brand and corporate teams. Leverage leadership skills to align cross-functional and divisional partners to a common vision and to inspire high standards of brand execution. Employ business and financial acumen to link marketing strategy and results directly to overall business strategy and Reitmans financial goals.
QualificationsQualifications & Competencies:We are looking to bring onboard a leader with the passion and knowledge that will guide us to where we are going and growing.
- Bachelor’s degree, commerce, marketing or related - An MBA is an asset;
- Fifteen (15) or more years’ experience in consumer brand marketing, with Seven (7) + years of professional advancement within reputable customer centric organizations in executive leadership roles;
- Passion for building brands, creating lasting customer relationships, and mentoring teams;
- A strong omni-channel marketing background with the ability to recognize great storytelling and deliver cross-channel experiences;
- Ability to balance data and creative to deliver on customer needs and brand expectations;
- Excellent knowledge of corporate data environments and client relationship management tools that support the client centric approach;
- Excellent Bilingual oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and translate a wide range of concepts across specialized disciplines that power the organization, including the senior leadership team as well as all external key stakeholders across Canada.
