Job Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing for The Peak Group of Companies will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s brand and digital presence and overall market growth. With a strong focus on digital marketing, this leader will develop and implement strategies that leverage digital channels to amplify brand visibility, enhance customer engagement, and optimize marketing performance across North America, Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the President & CEO, the VP of Marketing will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and the organization’s strategic goals.
This is a hybrid role and the ideal candidate would be working in any of our offices in Richmond, BC, Calgary, AB or Richmond Hill, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Further develop the Peak brand as a leader in global home improvement products.
- Formulate and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy, with a focus on digital channels, to drive growth and increase market share.
- Develop product launch and go-to-market strategies, collaborating with product development on new innovations.
- Work with executive leadership to define brand positioning, especially within digital and online retail environments.
Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content creation, to build brand awareness and drive traffic.
- Create targeted digital advertising campaigns to capture, engage, and convert audiences across multiple platforms.
- Use analytics to optimize digital marketing spend, ensuring data-driven decisions that maximize ROI.
Customer Engagement
- Collaborate closely with sales to align digital marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Develop online and offline campaigns to enhance customer loyalty and lifetime value.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead product marketing efforts for new product launches, utilizing digital strategies to amplify reach and engagement.
- Create go-to-market strategies that leverage digital touchpoints and partnerships to expand product reach and enhance customer experience.
- Analyze customer insights to guide product positioning and messaging.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team with expertise in digital marketing, branding, and customer engagement.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Promote cross-functional partnerships to drive consistency and impact across marketing initiatives.
Budgeting & Performance Measurement
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, with a particular focus on optimizing digital marketing investments.
- Establish KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness, analyze performance data, and make strategic adjustments.
- Use marketing analytics and insights to continuously refine and improve digital marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong background in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and brand strategy.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably within consumer goods, home improvement, or B2B sectors.
- Expertise in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and leverage insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

Compensation: From $150,000.00 per year depending on experience plus discretionary bonus.
