Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our growing team at Peninsula Veterinary Hospital in our brand-new privately owned Veterinary Hospital in Sidney. While previous veterinary reception experience is an asset, it is not necessary. What we value most are excellent communication skills and a passion for helping pet owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and pet care in a fast-paced environment
  • Schedule appointments and manage the hospital's calendar
  • Maintain accurate client and pet records
  • Process payments and handle basic administrative tasks
  • Provide compassionate support and information to pet owners

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to multitask in a busy work environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with veterinary software is a plus
  • A love for animals and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
