At the Trudell Medical Group of Companies our vision is to provide patients throughout the world with medical devices and services that make their lives better. The Group manufactures and globally markets some of the leading brands in respiratory care, including the AeroChamber brand of valved holding chambers, the Aerobika brand of OPEP devices, and the AeroEclipse brand of nebulizers. Trudell Medical Limited is the Corporate entity within the Trudell Medical Group of Companies and operates out of our offices in London, Ontario Canada.

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our newly formed St. John's, Newfoundland AI team.

This is an office-based role in St John's, Newfoundland. Must be willing to come onsite.

As a member of the AI Team, you will create innovative and original design solutions that will be applied throughout the Trudell Medical Group of Companies.

What you'll focus on:

  • Designing and refining user interfaces for AI-powered applications, ensuring an intuitive and visually engaging experience
  • Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
  • Conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver seamless, user-centric solutions
  • Maintaining and contributing to a design system that ensures consistency across all products
  • Continuing to stay current with UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

What we're looking for:

  • University degree or college diploma in graphic design, industrial design, marketing, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
  • User mindset and eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Experience with user research, journey mapping, and usability testing
  • Ability to clearly communicate and make decisions
  • Experience with AI-driven products is an asset
  • Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, or front-end development
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • A mindset that aligns with our culture - humble, hungry, smart
