• SGAM (Client Global Asset Management) is a full-stack global agile team. The team manages various websites and is responsible for controlling enhancements/changes to web properties.
• Big Blue Project: Support the redesign of the dynamic.ca website making it more user-friendly and look more modern design. Current phase: gathering resources and building the team. The main function of the UX Designer/Front End Dev (AEM) is to work with project teams to design and deliver high-quality client-centered, effective, consistent and usable interfaces.
• The successful candidate will not only have the opportunity to gain valuable experience at a top 5 Canadian bank, but also get exposure to some of the most advanced technologies within banking.
• Design and implement responsive and interactive web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize the user interface for performance, SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
• Work closely with business analysts, business sponsors, project managers, and IT teams to obtain and understand business requirements.
• Create the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, and industry best practices, considering strategic business objectives, user needs, and systems constraints.
• Participate in design review sessions with project teams, acquiring consensus and getting approvals on designs and documentation.
• Execute business acceptance test cases and testing. Work with project managers to ensure that usability deliverables accommodate project timelines, budgets, and technical and scope constraints.
• Contribute to developing, maintaining, and continuously improving efficient and effective usability methodology/process, documentation, workflow, ROI, metrics, and design standards.
• Act as a user experience advocate regarding principles of user experience and user-centered design.
• 8-10+ years of experience with front-end development technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Bootstrap, and HTML5, to collaborate effectively with back-end developers and bring designs to life.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure designs are usable for all users, including those with disabilities.
• 8-10+ years of experience working with user-centered design techniques & demonstrated ability to incorporate those UCD principles into the architecture and user interfaces.
• 6-10 years of experience in effectively gathering and translating requirements from diverse stakeholders, including subject matter experts (SMEs), users, and business analysts. Skilled in transforming these ideas into prototype design mockups using Figma, with a strong foundation in design thinking.
• Understanding of SEO best practices to optimize web applications for search engines.
• Knowledge of Jira repository management.
• Experience in Adobe Suite design programs, such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.

They excel in collaborating with back-end developers to bring designs to life with precision and efficiency. The candidate is well-versed in accessibility standards (WCAG) and consistently implements these standards to create inclusive and user-friendly designs. Additionally, their experience in user-centered design techniques enables them to effectively integrate UCD principles into both architecture and user interfaces, resulting in intuitive and engaging user experiences.
