Job Title: UX Designer

Job Description: Are you a passionate UX Designer looking to make a significant impact on user experiences? We're seeking a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Toronto on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. As a Hybrid role with on-site requirements twice a week, you'll have the flexibility to balance remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualize and design: Translate abstract ideas into engaging and intuitive user experiences.
2. Shape strategic approach: Contribute to the overall experience design strategy for projects and initiatives.
3. Prototype with finesse: Demonstrate prototyping skills through various techniques, including sketching, paper prototyping, wireframing, video, and interactive prototypes.
4. Master design tools: Proficiency in Figma, Axure, and Adobe's Creative Suite is essential.
5. Understand technology: A solid grasp of web and mobile technologies is required.
6. Attention to detail: Maintain a meticulous eye for detail in all aspects of your work.
7. Analytical skills: Demonstrate strong organizational, logical, and analytical thinking.
8. Effective communication: Communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
9. Collaborate effectively: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

1. Degree in design: A degree in design or a related field (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.).
2. Experience in UX: Proven ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling customer experiences.
3. Prototyping skills: Demonstrated proficiency in various prototyping techniques.
4. Design tool mastery: Fluency in Figma, Axure, and Adobe's Creative Suite.
5. Technical understanding: Knowledge of web and mobile technologies.
6. Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to work.
7. Analytical skills: Strong organizational, logical, and analytical thinking.
8. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
9. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
