Utility Worker

• Cleaning factory and equipment, common areas
• Verifying condition and weights of materials and products
• Cleaning work areas and equipment as well as performing other labouring and elemental activities

ACCOUNTABILITY : Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• Forklift experience an asset
• WHIMIS or First Aid tickets (asset, however, training will be provided)
• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
• Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Able to follow oral and written directions
• Able to function well in a team environment and to communicate clearly with others
• Being flexible and adaptable
• Having a proactive/preventive approach
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Being punctual and reliable
• Experience in a similar environment would be a definite asset
