Position: User Experience Researcher Co-op/Intern

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master's, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in Human psychology, anthropology, sociology, or a related field from an accredited school in Canada.

Qualifications

• Interdisciplinary collaboration with designers, engineers, developers, and product teams.
• Experience in applied product research and design thinking techniques is an asset. An empathetic, human-centric approach to research is a must.
• Strong ability to communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
• Experience moderating qualitative research.

It would be nice if you also had:

• User experience tools & skills such as Figma, and design thinking skills.
• A portfolio of work you’ve done that demonstrates the research methods that you learned about user needs while conducting the research.

Responsibilities

• Bring knowledge of methodology and practices of social science research.
• Support cross-functional team members to define and prioritize research and to develop UX metrics.
• Support and conduct empirical research to understand and extract meaningful patterns of user behaviour.
• Your research will generate user experience insights that will move our products forward.
