Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- A working knowledge of and ability to apply US Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
- Monitor changes in government trade regulations to ensure internal processes and procedures are implemented.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure compliance with all relevant trade related laws and regulations while enabling the business to achieve objectives.
- Participate in trade compliance associations to stay current on import regulations and best practices.
- Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions.
- Review and disposition of GTS ERP systems and other workflows as required.
- Assist with regulatory interpretation and guidance.
- Support Regulatory Compliance investigations.
- Develop internal compliance program; including risk assessment and internal audit, assess export compliance and implementing corrective actions.
- Additional Global Trade activities assigned by Global Trade manager.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing tasks and making decisions autonomously.
- Exhibit a proactive, responsive, and self-motivated approach to work, showing adaptability and openness to change.
- Excel in high-pressure situations by effectively prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and demonstrate strong competency in record management and accuracy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years related import/export compliance and regulation experience.
- Knowledge of the U.S. Global Trade regulations including the Export Administrative Regulations (EAR).
- Understanding of US Customs regulations.
- Experience of interpreting and managing policies and procedures.
- Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures.
- Working SAP/GTS knowledge of export transactions.
- Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work throughout the organization.
