Urban Planner
Job description
Location: London ON or Kitchener ON, in office
Compensation: based on education/qualifications, starting $80k +
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage development applications including Official Plan Amendments, Zoning Bylaw Amendments, and Site Plan Applications
- Lead public consultation meetings and community information sessions
- Conduct due diligence studies and project coordination across disciplines
- Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
- Ensure project professionalism, quality, and timely delivery within budget
Skills/Qualifications:
- Urban Planning degree with OPPI membership (or eligibility)
- RPP designation or eligible within 6 months
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience, preferably in consulting
- Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines with attention to detail
