We are looking for Crash Truck Drivers to join our team at Ramudden Services.
The Crash Truck Driver is an integral part of the Traffic Control Team. They are involved in the setup, monitoring, and take down of road closures to protect road workers and the travelling public.

You have:
- 3+ years in a driving role (i.e. delivery, trucking, construction etc.)
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license; AZ preferred but will consider a full G class license coupled with CVOR experience
- A clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including crash truck, flat-deck and pick-up truck
- Communicate comfortably in English – both spoken and written
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Accessible at all times via telephone and text message for scheduling and work assignment
As a Crash Truck Driver, you will:
- Under the supervision of a Ramudden Services Team Lead, read and understand traffic control plans and follow verbal work instructions as provided
- Vehicle operation (crash truck) during the execution of highway lane closures, lane opening and worker protection
- Monitor roadway lane closures and communication of safety concerns as identified
- Vehicle inspection
- Paperwork including vehicle inspection reporting
Working Conditions:
- Work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
- Periods of standing or sitting during the roadway closure
- Hours of work and work assignments may vary for operational reasons
- Traffic management services may be delivered seven days a week and 24 hours a day
