Ultra Sound Technician Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follows careful instructions from our Professional Medical Team
• Conducts Cycle Monitoring by taking measurements of endometrium and follicles.
• Educates the patient before and during diagnostic procedures
• Monitors patient safety through all diagnostic procedures
• Media preparation
• Works collaboratively with the Professional Medical Team during IUI procedures and Embryo Transfers
• Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all Ultra Sound equipment
• Manages the Diagnostic Image Database

• Must be accountable and self-motivated

Job Requirements:

• Completion of formal sonography training in a recognized school or equivalent experience
• Must have ARDMS/CARDUP
• Experience in pelvic and obstetric sonography
• Must have completed CPR training
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• PACS experience an asset
• Having IPS an asset
