We are hiring for a Float Night Shift Driver. This position is perfect for personable, hard-working individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work! In this role, you will operate out of our Hamilton location and your route will take you to downtown TO, GTA, Tricounty, Hamilton and other areas. You will be required to fill in for 3 different runs for vacation purposes. Those runs consist of hauling trailers, tankers, B-Trains and loading and unloading trailers. Your daily tasks when not covering for vacations will be trailer switches, dumping trailers, delivering our containers and other tasks as needed.

We offer:

1. Permanent/full-time position, 42.5 hours/week;
2. Starting wage of $32.02; after probation period $33.56/hour;
3. Overtime paid daily. After regular hours;
4. Local driving all of Southern Ontario;
5. Pension fund with employer contribution;
6. Reimbursement for gym and physical activities;
7. On-the-job training.

Schedule:

1. Monday Night to Friday Night (with some Saturdays);
2. 5 days of 8.5 hours;
3. Shift starts at 3pm to 5 pm; with possibility of 10-14 hours/day.
4. Shift start times for vacations coverage will be 3 pm, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect, handle and transport raw materials recovered and processed by the company (grease, organics, meat);
2. Trailer Switching, Loading and Unloading dump trailers;
3. Operate various equipment including bucket trailers, dump trailers, btrains, tankers and vacuum trucks;
4. As needed, perform various other tasks (e.g. cleaning and/or handling and/or painting of various equipment).

Requirements:

1. A clear AZ driver’s abstract is required;
2. Comfortable to do drum and trap work;
3. Tanker, B-Train, Hydraulic Dump and Vacuum Truck experience would be an asset.
