Treasury Board Analyst

Treasury Board Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance is a vibrant and energetic organization, committed to offering challenging opportunities and the advancement of individual leadership skills. We provide policy and financial advice to Treasury Board and Cabinet in constructing the provincial budget.

The branch has opportunities for entry to mid-level policy analysts with superior analytical, financial, economic and communication skills who are seeking progressive career advancement. These positions provide policy options and advice in areas of public policy and government expenditures.

Successful applicants will possess sound understanding and knowledge of current public policy issues and financial management practices. You will have strong research and analytical skills and will also have excellent presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ideally, applicants will have a Master's degree or equivalent level of education in Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related discipline, and several years of related experience in public policy analysis.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
