Kendall County is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join the Kendall County Treasurer’s Office! Reporting directly to the County Treasurer and Chief Deputy Treasurer, the Part Time Deputy Treasurer is deputized to receipt and account for revenue received for both County funds and Property taxes. This position also assists with answering phones and handling walk-in business at the Kendall County Treasurer’s Office.

Essential Functions:

A successful candidate for this position must be able to multi-task and provide high-quality support for all areas of Kendall County’s Treasurer’s office. Essential job duties include, but are not limited to, all duties included in the job description.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of prior work experience in an accounting environment is required.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time position.
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • This position’s office location is on-site in Yorkville, Illinois.
  • Hourly Range: $18.00 - $20.00 / DOQ.
  • Paid vacation time - accrued each month, available for use immediately, and increases incrementally with years of service.
  • Paid personal/sick days per year.
  • Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Pension Plan.
